Principal Accountabilities:
1.     Ensure implementation of Group EHSQ policies at Region sites.

2.     Coordinate and integrate Region’s EHSQ timely and correct reporting to the Group EHSQ.

3.     Monitor and control extent of compliance with norm requirements and implementation of corrective and preventive actions, ensuring that manuals for EHSQ management are in place

4.     Plan and conduct internal audits so as to provide management with performance evaluation as a basis for new goals and improvements.

5.     Co-ordinates EHSQ training to all employees in order to assure standards are met and enhance a sustainable development culture within the organisation

6.     Acts as a liaison between the corporate EHSQ function and the local plants in order to provide two-way information on recommendations and priorities.

7.     Monitor specific Regulatory developments applicable at Region’s sites.

8.     Maintain inventory list of raw materials and chemicals used at sites and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) of relevant products.

·         around 5+ years of experience in production facilities either as a Plant Manager or in EHSQ (experience in mining environment will be considered a plus), out of which last 3-4 years preferably in foreign owned companies

·         University Degree in Engineering (metallurgical, mechanical, chemical)

·         Very Good command of English language (all email and reporting communication in english)

·         Very good use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

·         Exhibited good Communication, influence and integration skills

·         Keeps himself/herself constant updated of literature / research / legislation in his/her field

·         Ability to travel within China and in other countries of the Region (India, Korea?)
