Job Description – Senior HSE Consultant

Position: Senior Consultant
Location: Shanghai City
Language: Chinese and English 
 

 
1. Primary Function
 
  Deliver Safety, Health and Environment Consulting Services to Clients in China or Asia
  The primary function is as the followings:
  Provide hands-on training to Client on how to improve safety management
system or practices.
  Work as assistant (scribe) for HAZOP Study.
  Be able to work as a HAZOP facilitator after receive training by RMS.
  Conduct Environment, Health and Safety (HSE) audits.
  Provide classroom training of HSE for Client staff.
  Prepare work report in Chinese or in English.
  Some of the above tasks shall be performed in an English working
environment.
  This position requires about 8-15 days travel in China monthly. 
2. Qualifications, Education & Experience
 
  At least 5-6 year work experience in process operations, or engineering or safety
management
  Knowledge of industry recognized HSE management practices
  Good communication skills and willing to work with other people
  Written and Spoken English are good enough for work purpose
 
If the candidates are with either of the following qualifications, then will be more
preferred:
  Hold a Chemical Engineering degree or similar  
  Have ever worked for an international company
  Have work experience in consulting industry
  Have provided training in public or in-house
  Have ever work in a chemical plant or manufacturing plant
